Walking around Cognac : Pathways
There is a marvellous network of pathways which criss-cross the communes around Cognac, the town itself being on the GR4.
The paths were prepared by "Les randonneurs du cognaçais" (Cognac walking club) under the aegis of the F.D.R.P. (National Federation).
There is something to suit everyone. From the shortest (the "Tour des iles de la Charente" : 2 km) to the longest ("Le sentier des Chauffeurs" : 18km).

Rides in the Cognac Country
Thanks to the mildness of its climate, the beauty of its landscapes, its Romanesque churches, its local products, Cognac country appeals to lovers of nature and the outdoor life.
The Tourist Offices of Chateauneuf sur Charente, Cognac, Jarnac, Rouillac, and Segonzac have worked together on a brochure "Passion vélo" proposing cycling tours on different topics.
They appeal both to experienced cyclists and beginners.
